unique technique and developed a patented measurement system for
diagnostic decision
support in psychiatry - SD-BERA
(SensoDetect-Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry).
With SD-BERA added to the diagnostic procedure, psychiatric diagnoses can be set faster and with higher accuracy.
SD-BERA is designed for
detection of neural activity
specific for
different psychiatric and neuropsychiatric
diagnostic groups. At the
present, there are specific patterns for schizophrenia and ADHD,
which makes
SD-BERA an important contribution
to all diagnostic assessments
where any of these diagnoses are possible explanations.
Activity
patterns specific for other clinical groups as well as mediciation
response profiles are being implemented in SD-BERA as our research
proceeds.
