SensoDetect AB respects your privacy. Therefore, we are very careful when processing your personal data. The personal data we use is processed in accordance with applicable law or other legislation. The new law relating to personal data, GDPR, enters into force within the EU on 25 May 2018. This, in order to reinforce the right of individuals to their personal data.

This document constitutes a policy for our collection, use and processing of personal data within the framework of our business, and with whom we may share personal data as well as your rights in relation to your personal data. “Personal data” refers to information that is directly or indirectly linked to a natural person, but also possibly information on location or IP addresses, as described below. When you use our services, we will process personal data for a number of purposes. To use our services, you must read and agree to this privacy policy.


The necessary personal data is normally obtained directly from you by SensoDetect, via clinics, hospitals and research institutes. Your personal data can also be gathered from external parties that handle personal data in connection with our business transactions, tests and research collaborations. SensoDetect may also record or otherwise document your communication with us.

When using our service, certain information will be gathered automatically, including information about your use of our services as well as transaction history for this and technical data, which may include the URL that allows you to access the website (unique device ID, network and device performance information, type of browser, language, and identification and operating system information).


SensoDetect obtains personal data in order to manage customer and patient and clinical trial relationships. The personal data can be used within SensoDetect to provide a complete picture of your commitment and to give you the best experience. The information is used to administer tests, clinical trials and patient or research data, ensure provision of our services with third party services, in order to provide fast, good service and opportunities for self-service. The information may also be used for statistics, market and customer as well as medical analyses, as well as for sending notifications and messages via e-mail and otherwise personally targeted and relevant offers, such as e.g. research improvements.

The personal information is used primarily within SensoDetect, but may be disclosed to other companies and organisations with whom we collaborate, within and outside the EU and EEA, as well as to the authorities we are required to comply with by law.


Legal basis
The personal data is used in order that we may carry out legal obligations and to fulfil agreements and measures requested before or after an agreement has been reached. The legal basis for our processing of personal data is the fulfilment of agreements to the extent that processing is necessary for our delivery under the terms and conditions of use. For all other processing, the legal basis is your consent.

Please note that access to our services requires you to allow us to collect and process the necessary personal data in accordance with the above.


Data storage
Your personal data is stored safely for the above purposes, and not for longer than necessary in order to meet the requirements of the business.


Change of ownership
If ownership of our business changes, we may transfer your information to the new owners so that they can continue to provide the service. The new owners will continue to comply with the commitments we have made in this privacy policy.


Notification of changes
SensoDetect may, from time to time, make changes to this privacy policy. The latest version is always available on SensoDetect’s web pages. Last updated: 2018-05-24.


Your rights
Once a year you have the right to request written access to the personal data processed and exercise your right to data portability. At any time, you may also request that incorrect personal information be corrected, that we cease processing and delete your personal data, that processing of your personal data is restricted, and to object to the processing of the personal data. 

The personal data controller for the processing of your personal data is SensoDetect AB*, with which you have entered into an agreement or otherwise provided personal information, or who has obtained your personal information from a third party. Within the company group, SensoDetect AB has established a joint customer register containing general information about customers, patients and tests and clinical trial runs, such as names, contact details and information relating to involvement. For the processing of personal data in a joint customer register, the branches within SensoDetect AB, and as regards the gathering of personal data from external registers, are joint personal data controllers.

How to; Request of register extract (in writing):
Open and fill in the form “Request of register extract”. Remember that we need your e-mail address in order to send the extract from the register to you.
